Priority Mail® vs Priority Mail Express® (2024)

Priority Mail® and Priority Mail Express® shipping sound similar, but there are differences between the services. The price for Priority Mail Express® is more expensive than the Priority Mail l® service. While the price is a bit higher, Priority Mail Express® offers faster delivery times with fewer restrictions on delivery dates. Call your local AIM Mail Center for pricing.

Comparing Priority Mail® and Priority Mail Express®

Both services have the same weight and size limits for packages but differ in price and delivery times. If you need your package to get there quickly, Priority Mail Express® will ensure the fastest delivery time and you’ll be able to choose Sunday or holiday delivery options. Those features do come at a premium which increases the cost of your shipment. If your shipment can be delivered within a few days, then Priority Mail® will be a considerably cheaper option.
