DFA-OCA in ASEANA to Open on Saturdays. In our effort to meet the huge demand for 10-year passports, the Office of Consular Affairs in ASEANA shall be open to passport applications every Saturday starting 10 February 2018, from 8am-5pm.

Does the DFA allow walk-in applicants? ONLY EXCEPTIONAL AND EMERGENCY CASES are allowed on walk-in basis at Courtesy Lane in DFA Aseana and other Consular Offices in the Philippines. Non-emergency applicants must secure an online appointment at passport.gov.ph.

The DFA advises you to refresh the page, as appointments become available from time to time. What time does the DFA open slots for appointments, anyway? For all Consular Offices, slots are made available Mondays to Fridays at 12:00 noon and 9:00 p.m., except on holidays.

DFA-Aseana will only accept 300 walk-in applicants for the Passport Courtesy Lane and 300 walk-in applicants for Authentication/Apostille services. On 22 March 2022, the Department announced that it will begin accommodating walk-in applicants for Apostille services.

Applicants are reminded to be 30 minutes earlier on their selected date and time of appointment at their chosen consular office. Dealing with fixers is at your own risk and expense. All the originals and photocopies of the documentary requirements for passport application shall be prepared.

You might be wondering, “Should I renew my passport before it expires?” According to the U.S. government, the best time to renew a passport is nine months before it expires. This gives you time to complete all your paperwork, mail it in and receive your new passport before the old one expires.

Please be informed that the DFA with authentication services are accepting applicants through the following options: Option 1: WALK-IN (Limited slots per day depending on the capacity of the Consular Office). You may avail the walk-in facility if you are: Document owners (If the documents are under their name); or.

NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED for the following:

Senior Citizen with Senior Citizen ID. Person with Disability (PWDs) with PWD ID or visible disability. Solo Parent with Valid Solo Parent ID. Pregnant women with medical certificate.

Schedule an appointment online. Walk-in applicants are normally not allowed EXCEPT for emergency and special cases. Regular and non-emergency applicants must secure their slots by setting an online appointment. As much as possible, do it months before your desired travel date to give you enough lead time.

What if you miss your DFA appointment? ›

Can I Miss the Passport Application on the Scheduled Date? We don't suggest you do this. You can cancel or rebook your DFA appointment three days before your next appointment. Otherwise, you may be fined for not applying for a passport for 30 days.

Only clients with prior appointments will be accommodated. Clients eligible for the priority lane such as senior citizens, pregnant women, persons with disability (PWD), and frontliners will be accommodated even without appointment if they present a valid ID as proof of eligibility.
