In some other cases, it’s a matter of tradition. According to Michael Bublé, his choice to wear an engagement ring is in keeping with customs in Argentina, where his now-wife hails from.
And finally, there’s men in same-sex relationships – new traditions are still being formed, many are opting to maintain the engagement ring etiquette, with one or both parties opting to wear an engagement ring!
Some men are more than comfortable with the engagement terminology, and call these rings what they are, while others prefer to refer to them as “commitment rings” and wear them around their necks.
Either way, the sentiments are the same – “I can’t wait to be married!”
