What to Wear in February & Average Weather Temperatures
The weather in San Francisco in February is beautiful. It's during our rainy season, so you will find a few rainy days this month. However, most days you will find temps in the lower 60s with a few hours of sunshine throughout the day.
San Francisco weather temperatures dips down into the high 40s a night, so make sure to bring along some warmer items for the evenings.
What should you wear in San Francisco this month? I recommend a lightweight shirt and a light jacket during the day with a slightly heavier jacket or shirt at night. I typically wear long pants as the wind can cool it down quickly in some districts.

Concerts & Live Music
You will find several concerts each night in San Francisco. You will find venues around town with both large shows and live music from locally popular musicians.
Top picks include those at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, The Independent, and the Fillmore. You will also find some great comedy shows this month too.

The February calendar is full of fun theater performances, musicals and play. You will find at least one large, traveling Broadway show in February each year. Shows on stage here include those such as Wicked, Hamilton, Aladdin, and The Lion King.

Chinese New Year's Parade & Festival
Every year, thousands of people descend upon SF's Chinatown district to celebrate the Chinese New Year (also known as the Lunar New Year). It's a full month of activities with the highlight being the large parade through the heart of the district.
