Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock has listed one of her two Malibu homes for rent, but if you're keen on having the serial property investor as your landlord, you'll need to fork out the big bucks.
After purchasing the property in 2020 for USD $5.3 million ($7.8 million), Bullock is seeking a monthly rate of USD $30,000 ($44,000), which is no doubt thanks to the unobstructed whitewater views.
The dwelling itself, however, is more cottage than house, with only two bedrooms and two bathrooms over a modest 125 square metres.

Despite its petite size, Bullock's bungalow does have a lot going for it.
She's given the 1958-built home a contemporary renovation, inclusive of wide-plank hardwood floors, walls of glass and a gourmet kitchen kitted out with Wolf and SubZero appliances.

Outside, you'll find an entertainment centre, a deck for sunbathing, Pacific Ocean views, a dining area, fire-pit and bar seating area with BBQ.
The location is another factor in the price tag, as it's located within the desirable 24/7 guard-gated community, Malibu Cove Colony.
Unsurprisingly, the area includes a few celebrity neighbours such as Halle Berry and Bullock herself – yes, she owns a second and larger oceanfront Malibu home in the same estate.
Comparatively, this week fellow Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio listed his stunning USD $9.9 million ($14 million) Beverly Hills mansion for rent for only a smidge more at USD $32,500 per month.
Sitting on just over 1100-square-metres in a prime location, the renovated pad has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a chef's kitchen (also with SubZero and Wolf appliances) plus a large back yard with pool.
According to Dirt, Bullock has long been "one of Hollywood's most prolific and successful real estate investors, with no fewer than 15 properties scattered across the United States."
In addition to the two Malibu homes, some of these include a USD $20 million Beverly Hills estate, a gorgeous ranch in Jackson, Wyoming, a Gothic Victorian mansion in New Orleans, a lakefront compound in Austin, Texas, and a swish NYC townhouse.
