Navy is a great neutral color that works well for all seasons. If you get tired of wearing black all the time, navy is a great replacement color for it. Blue is also a color that can work year-round, it just depends on the shade and tone of it. Today I am showing you a few looks with these two colors.
For the first look, I have restyled our best-selling navy lightweight open front cardigan vest, which I first debuted for you HERE. Since that time I have restocked this cardigan vest at least 10 times! It is just one of those super popular items that everyone loves.
This vest is knitted in a nice soft navy yarn and has ribbed detailing in the front and around the arms. It has two front pockets that are also finished with a ribbing detail. The front is open with no closure and the bottom of the sides have two slits. If you want to cover the “vest trend” but you are hesitating on some of the woven ones, this is a great alternative as it is casual and easy to wear. We have this piece in two other colors as well: Taupe and Black.
For a fall look, I have paired it with our ivory knit mock neck long sleeve top. This beautiful stylish top is knitted in a soft ivory yarn and the body is true to size. The mock neck, long sleeves and the ribbing details make this top an excellent choice for fall to wear on its own or as a layering under jackets, cardigans, and coats. I have added two accessories to this first look. First our new blue paisley print scarf. The scarf is printed on a sheer and lightweight fabric and works perfectly with this look. The second accessory is our matte silver and gold pendant necklace which I am wearing for all of today’s looks.
Last but not least, for a second outfit I am debuting a new fun poncho: Our blue combo novelty yarn open weave poncho with fringe. This poncho is knitted in a beautiful and soft novelty yarn that is in shades of blue and a few other colors combined. It has a semi open weave and a fold back cowl neck. Parts of the bottom are finished with a self-fringe.
