So, How Much Money Is ‘RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Actually Worth? (2024)

Erika Jayne and her divorce from Tom Girardi have been a huge focus on this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Erika shocked fans—and even her co-stars—when she announced in November 2020 that she and Tom were divorcing. "After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi," she said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. "This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together. It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserve. I request others give us that privacy as well."

And the Hulu documentary The Housewife and The Hustler raised a lot of questions about all of the scandals surrounding Erika and Tom, including accusations that Tom was embezzling legal settlement funds from his clients. The couple was also accused of staging their divorce to try to protect their assets.

And during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 reunion, Erika reveals everything about the true state of her financial affairs.

With that in mind, there have been a lot of questions about Erika’s net worth, and fair. Here’s how she got so rich—and what she’s worth right now.

She’s been on Real Housewives since 2015.

Erika has been stockpiling her RHOBH salary for almost 7 years. That’s reportedly $600,000 a season, according to The New York Times (FWIW: Longtime cast members Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna make $500,000 a season).

Erika has a successful singing career.

Erika has released a slew of electro-pop singles, including “How Many F*cks,” “Pretty Mess,” and “Xxpensive,” and they’ve done pretty well. “Pretty Mess” and “How Many F*cks” climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, according the Los Angeles Times. All in, she’s had nine No. 1 hits, which have definitely earned her some cash.

She starred in a Broadway musical.

Erika played Roxie Hart in Chicago the Musical for nearly three months. Her time on stage was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic when Broadway shuttered theaters in 2020.

"Well this is not the way I wanted to say goodbye to Roxie and my Chicago family but I have no choice," Erika wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her on stage. "THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone that came to the shows. I leave NYC feeling like my mission is incomplete but I will treasure this time always."

Erika released a bestselling memoir.

Erika released her memoir, Pretty Mess, in 2018. According to the description on Amazon, Erika “spills on every aspect of her life: from her rise to fame as a daring and fiery pop/dance performer and singer; to her decision to accept a role on reality television; to the ups and downs of family life (including her marriage to famed lawyer Tom Girardi, thirty-three years her senior)."

The book made it on The New York Times’ bestseller list.

Erika also scores major social media partnerships.

She regularly poses with Savage x Fenty lingerie and other notable brands on the 'gram.

Erika has launched multiple collections with ShoeDazzle. The heels retailed for $30 to $76 each, per FootwearNews, before they sold out.

It’s unclear how much Erika will get in her divorce, if anything.

Tom said in court testimony in the fall that he doesn’t have any money. “At one point I had about 80 million or 50 million in cash. That’s all gone,” he said, per the Los Angeles Times. "I don’t have any money."

Still, Erika previously told Andy Cohen that she and Tom don’t have a prenup, but she doesn’t think it would make a difference if they did. “I’m married to a very powerful lawyer. A prenup wouldn’t stand in his way anyway,” she said at the time. “So it doesn’t matter whether you had one or you didn’t, it’s gonna be all Tom’s way, I assure you.”

Erika and Tom recently listed their $1.25 million property in La Quinta, California.

In September, Us Weekly reported that the couple listed their $1.25 million home in La Quinta, California, on the market. Erika explained on the show this season that, while she knew she owned a home there, she had no idea where it was and had never visited it or stayed there.

After Erika divorced Tom and moved out, she found a $1.5 million Spanish-style home in Los Angeles, according to E! News. The 2,000 square foot house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a pool, and a garden patio.

But Erika's remaining money may be claimed by lawyers or creditors.

In addition to Tom's legal troubles, Erika has now been named in at least half a dozen lawsuits, according to The New York Times, the largest of which is a bankruptcy case. Months ago, lawyers suggested that Tom's law firm may have paid for $25 million of her expenses. In July, Erika was named as a defendant in a suit filed by a bankruptcy trustee trying to collect that money.

Court documents revealed she was spending more than $850,000 on stylists and manicures, at least $1.3 million on marketing, and around $14 million in American Express charges. RHOBH fans know that Erika also has a "glam squad" with her at all times—they've even starred in some episodes.

Older court documents claimed that she knowingly hid money from creditors. "Erika has used her glamour and notoriety to continue to aid and abet in sham transactions that have occurred with respect to large transfers of assets from the Debtor," the files read, per People.

Erika's lawyer, Evan Borges, stated that she had no idea what Tom was accused of or how he handled his law firm's money. “Erika doesn’t have personal liability for any of those transactions,” Borges explained, per the New York Times.

On the June 22 episode of RHOBH, Erika even got drunk (and messy) on a boat, ranting about how her old yacht was named “Illegal,” per Vulture. Sadly, had to get rid of the yacht (among other things) because of her debt.

And what’s this I hear about her fixing her friendship with Sutton Stracke?

Her self-described “fragile” relationship with Stracke may be on the come-up. Though Stracke had allegedly spread rumors about one of the lawsuits Jayne was involved in, they were seen on the June 22 episode joking around about dating apps together, per Entertainment Tonight.

"We're not going to be forced into kumbaya," she told Entertainment Tonight. "Work that out at our own...timing, not everyone else's.”

Just tell me already: What is Erika Jayne's net worth?

Erika is worth a reported $5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Compared to other Housewives and high-net-worth Bravolebrities, that's actually a pretty low sum. (FYI, Orange County housewife Shannon Beador's net worth rings in at a sweet $20 mil.)

With all of the legal drama surrounding her, it’s unclear if that number will go up or down in the future.
