“ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA”
— Star Platinum's Stand rush
Star Platinum is the Stand of Jotaro Kujo featured in Stardust Crusaders.
Jotaro awakens Star Platinum after DIO awakens his Stand due to their psychic connection. Jotaro uses Star Platinum to throw insanely fast and powerful punches.
At the end of Part 3, Star Platinum is revealed to have the ability to stop time. He is dubbed Star Platinum: The World, which follows the same rules as DIO's The World, allowing him to completely stop time for an extended period of time that ranges from part to part.

Physical Appearance[]
Star Platinum is a muscular built looking dude with purple skin. He's got long black flowing hair and looks like a dude. He's got a red scarf and gold shoulder bruhs kinda like Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star.
Design Variants[]
In Dark Blue Moon, Star Platinum is shown covered in barnacles under the affects of Imposter Captain Tenille's Stand, Dark Blue Moon.
In Death Thirteen, Part 2, Star Platinum appears as a result of the Stand Death Thirteen's dream casting abilities. In this dream world, Star Platinum flattens his head with a frying pan.
In D'Arby the Player, Part 2, Star Platinum appears as Jotaro's avatar in the video game "Oh! That's a Baseball!" in which he wears a baseball uniform for the fictional team "The Jaguars."
In Prisoner of Love, Star Platinum is transformed into a Stand DISC as a result of Whitesnake's ability.

Powers and Abilities[]
Base Form[]
Star Platinum is a close-range Stand with a range of two meters.
- Super Strength: Star Platinum possesses immense strength, being able to throw a Jeep carrying four men and a girl out of the path of an 18-wheeler with one hand, later pulling the same Jeep out of a canyon with only a car as a counter-weight, and destroy large artificial diamonds within seconds.
- Super Speed: Star Platinum boasts phenomenal speed. It was able to intercept a bullet fired from point-blank range, briefly contended with Silver Chariot (whilst it was using Anubis), and is stated to exceed the speed of light.
- Self-Preservation: Star Platinum possesses the awareness and reaction speed to protect Jotaro in many instances that he himself seems unaware; halting a bullet he experimentally shoots at his own head; protecting him while frozen by DIO's Time Stop; reviving him from near-death by directly pumping his heart.
- Precision: Star Platinum is incredibly precise; it can surgically remove an object embedded in a person's skull without ill effect, catch both a bullet and a minuscule Stand like Lovers between his thumb and forefinger in midair, and create a near photo-realistic drawing of a small Egyptian fly from a dark, blurry photo.
- Enhanced Eyesight: Star Platinum utilizes eagle-like eyesight throughout Stardust Crusaders. Jotaro has used Star Platinum's eyes to see four kilometers across a desert, as well as identify meaningful details, such as a specific type of fly in high-resolution images. It can also follow a card shuffle performed by a professional gambler, subsequently recounting the entire new order of the deck.
- Enhanced Breath: Star Platinum inhales with superhuman power, capable of sucking in the entire fog Stand Justice and holding it long enough for its user to suffocate.
- Barrage of Strikes: Star Platinum's primary method of attack. It throws an extremely fast but precise barrage of powerful punches to pulverize an opponent or destroy objects.
- Star Finger: Star Platinum can forcibly extend its middle and index fingers to a length of one or two meters, allowing it to perform sneak attacks and stab opponents from afar. The technique's frequency of usage decreased as the battles intensified.
Star Platinum: The World[]
At the end of Part 3, Jotaro realizes that Star Platinum and DIO's Stand, The World, are the same type of Stand, meaning that Star Platinum has the ability to temporarily stop time.
- Time Stop: When activated, Star Platinum is able to halt the flow of time for a brief moment, causing everything around him to appear frozen in place. During this time-lapse, Jotaro is able to interact with any object or person within his range. Measures of time during Time Stop correspond to normal measures, as shown by Jotaro's unwilling reduction in the duration of Time Stop affected by Made in Heaven. He is unable to use the ability consecutively, requiring a few seconds in between each usage.

Notes[]
- Some people theorize that Star Platinum may be the spirit of Jonathan Joestar helping out his great-great-great grandson in battle due to his design slightly resembling him.
- Obviously this isn't true because not only is that not how Stands work but that's also not how dying works. People also really like to point out some sub from an episode of Part 1 where Jonathan says to Dio, "If I die my ghost will haunt you" which was faked. It's all bs.
- This is the first Stand to follow along with a naming-scheme that the next JoJo's Stands all follow, that being being named after a material. In this case, it's platinum.
- It could be argued that Hermit Purple also fits the naming scheme since "purple" can be a material I guess.
