Norwegian Cruise Line will expand its partnership to offer Starbucks coffee across its 17-ship fleet as well as its private island destinations by the end of 2022.
NCL said that it will have licensed Starbucks stores on 10 of its ships, while others will serve the brand in "We Proudly Serve" cafes that don't include the Starbucks name. Later this year, guests will be able to enjoy Starbucks on Harvest Caye, the company's private destination in Belize and at its private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay.
On ships where a licensed store is available, guests will have access to Starbucks retail products and the benefits of Starbucks Rewards programmes while at sea. Starbucks beverages will also be available at all main dining room and specialty restaurants, with select ships offering self-pour coffee stations at the Garden Cafe, NCL's buffet restaurant.
NCL first launched a licensed Starbucks store on the Norwegian Bliss in 2018, then added them to the Norwegian Joy, Sky, Getaway and Encore. Additional stores are scheduled for the Norwegian Gem, Epic, Breakaway, Pearl and Escape.
