What is included with a suite on Pride of America? ›

Owners Suites have 2 bedrooms (one with king bed, the other with 2 lower beds), balcony (sunbeds, dining area, hot tub), double vanity, living room (double sofa bed), luxury bathroom (whirlpool bathtub, separate shower), guest bathroom, dining room, dressing area, wet bar. Deck 13's Owner Suites do not have hot tubs.

Pride of America crew members are paid more, enjoy labor protections foreign workers do not, and turnover is higher, leading to increased cruise fares. Our total 7-night fare on the Pride of America was nearly double what we paid for a 15-night sailing on the Grand Princess round-trip to Hawaii from San Fransisco.

One of the biggest differences between the balcony and the club balcony suite, in regards to the room, is the size of the bathroom. The club balcony suite has two sinks and a larger shower, as seen in the photo below.

How many people can sleep in a suite? In general, suites are designed to sleep two people, though most have a sofa that pulls out to accommodate a third passenger. Some suites that are specifically designated for families have room for four, five, six or even more.

The truth is, yes, you can totally live on a cruise ship. The idea of living on a cruise ship for a year or two is very appealing to some, especially remote workers or people in retirement.

Norwegian Cruise Line offers two levels of family suites that can accommodate four to six people on the Norwegian Dawn, the Norwegian Star, and Pride of America ships.

I would say Port side is preferable. The volcano is best seen from starboard but that's so brief. Na Pali is a bit longer, and sail away from Kauai is quite nice too from the Port side. Other than that, you will mostly be sailing after sundown anyway.

Gambling is illegal in Hawaii and since Pride of America is a U.S.-registered ship, there is no casino onboard. Music can be found almost everywhere onboard Pride of America.

Whereas balcony cabins are typically one big room with a bed, sitting area, desk/vanity, and closet, some suites may have multiple rooms with the bedroom separate from the living room or even a second bedroom. Some might have a second bathroom, as well.

Suites: If you're looking for luxury on your cruise, suites offer the most space and best room locations, often with separate living and sleeping areas. They generally feature large balconies, and extra amenities and perks. In other words, a suite can be considered the best cabin on any cruise ship.

Suite: Differences. The main differences between cruise ship balcony staterooms and suites are size, perks and price. The interior portion of balcony cabins is usually the same size as most other cabins; they tend to be just large enough to fit a bed, couch and desk with minimal space to walk around.

Grand Suites are 1/3 larger than Ocean Suites. A Grand Suite is two standard cabins, ( 345 sq ft...) and an Ocean Suites is one and a half standard cabins ( 275 sq ft...) The balcony with a GS is larger, 85 sq ft, as opposed to the OS, 65 sq ft.
