Terrell Riggins is the leader of the Montana Free Militia.
Biography
Early Life
Terrell grew up in Iowa and attended school there as well as college. In 1979, he joined the Army and became a Green Beret, and later received an honorable discharge in 1989 and relocated to Montana. He is an anti-government mercenary facing a life sentence. He was incarcerated for 20 years but still kept tabs on his network from the inside.
Throughout the Series
He ordered the coordinated attack on the Duttons as he was hired to, knowing the Duttons took out many of his soldiers in the Crazies. His men even did mercenary work for Malcolm and Teal Beck. After his organization was obliterated in a reprisal by the Duttons and after his party organizer, Chester Spears, is captured and killed, Jamie Dutton dug up some information on him and learned he was cellmates with his father. Jamie offered him full immunity and protection in exchange that he give him the name of the person who ordered the attack. It was soon learned that Garrett hired him to kill off the Duttons.
