So you’re a guy and you’re looking to get a piercing but you’re a bit unsure as to what you should get. You aren’t sure if any piercing would look ok on you, much less if it will look good. Look no further; here are the top 5 piercings that will look great on any guy.
Earlobe Piercing
Whether you choose to get one or both sides done, the earlobe is always a safe bet for guys. Your jewelry choice can change up just how the piercing will look on you, but rest assured, an ear piercing is the way to go if you have any doubts at all. Also one of the least painful locations, the earlobe can be a great way to test how well you can handle getting pierced before taking off into more painful locations. Guys all over have their ears pierced and at all ages – this one is kind of a no brainer, but alas it makes the list for those of you who just aren’t sure.
Helix Piercing
Similar in reasoning to the earlobes, the Helix is located in the upper cartilage and is a piercing that looks great on guys! Hoop or stud, both look great. Usually this wouldn’t be a first time piercing location choice, but if you’re looking for something different from the common earlobe, the helix is the way to go. These are almost as common as the earlobe piercings on guys, now, so you are not alone if you go this route.
Nose Piercing
The nose piercing is becoming more and more popular amongst guys going under the needle. It’s small, and though on your face, the nose piercing often becomes unnoticeable by many people. Once again, jewelry choice (such as a nose stud)can change just how this piercing will look. Throw caution to the wind and go get a nose piercing. You’ll be surprised how much it doesn’t change how you look, while still looking great!
Eyebrow Piercing
Similar to the nose in that its front and center on your face, many guys may think an eyebrow piercing won’t look right or good on them. Think again, friends, an eyebrow piercing is simple enough that it will not drastically change your appearance. With this one, you’re moving up the pain scale, but if you’ve decided to deviate from ears, this could be a great choice.
Nipple Piercing
Worst case scenario, you just put a shirt on and no one has to know. In all seriousness, this is a surefire way to test the piercing waters if you’re afraid that something on your face or ears will change how you look. While a painful leap to take, remember that the greater the risk the greater the reward.
While this list lays some brainstorming groundwork, keep in mind that it really shouldn’t matter what other people think of your appearance and your piercings. Get something you want and that you like. There’s always going to be someone with something to say about your piercings, no matter where they are located and how they look.
