crew returned from their vacation in Hawaii and everyone was caught in the aftermath of Brody and Audrina‘s hookup.
Almost Paradise: During a shopping spree, Lauren warned Audrina that Brody had admitted his transgression to his girlfriend, which provoked intense hatred in her direction from Jayde. Aud justified her fling with her single status and the couple’s rocky on-off relationship. “It didn’t seem wrong at the time,” she said.
Broiling Point: Frankie threw a barbecue, setting the stage for first showdown. When Jayde found out Aud was en route, she got prickly and her friends started mentioning a fight. Brody told her to relax and apologized again, using the “I was drunk” excuse. Frankie tried to cover for him, saying they just fell asleep. But Aud blew a kiss at Brody, who eventually made his way over to welcome her, which prompted Jayde to confront her. Aud claimed that she “would never go there” and that they stayed up talking about Jayde and Justin.
Quick question: Didn’t Brody admit to cheating to his friends? Why is everyone saying they just slept in the same bed?
“If you sleep in my boyfriend’s bed, something happened,” Jayde said. Aud decided it best to leave the party. When Brody inquired if Aud was okay, Jayde downed a bottle of liquor and told him it wasn’t his business to make sure she was okay.
Girl Fight: Steph and Aud headed to MyHouse even though they knew Jayde was there with Brody. When they got there, Brody told his girlfriend he wouldn’t tell Aud to leave because they’re friends. Jayde replied, “Not anymore.” She told her girlfriends — “playmates who bring the drama” — that Brody didn’t like her to rile them up. When one got in Aud’s face, Frankie stepped in again. Jayde was fuming, calling Audrina names, making hurtful accusations and threatening to punch her. She finally forced Brody to tell Aud to leave, and practically ate Brody’s face as a thank you as a disappointed Aud bounced.
Over lunch, Lauren suggested that Brody apologize to Aud and he was unwilling. He blamed her for not leaving his room and said he cared more about where he stood with Jayde than his old friend.
Creeping: Meanwhile, Heidi had intercepted a text from Stacie asking Spencer to meet her, and decided to see if he showed up, dragging her sister and sister-in-law to stake out the club. Stacie showed up and waved at them before slipping into the booth for a confrontation. Stacie took the same “I’m the single one” stance as Aud. Heidi asked her to stop coming after Spencer and added, “I wish this upon you. One day, I hope you know how it feels to have a conniving girl come into your life.”
Later, Speidi returned to therapy. Heidi admitted to going through Spencer’s phone, and he accused her of not trusting him. After more back-and-forth, the therapist looked exasperated and could barely get a word in edgewise. Spencer returned for a solo visit and came up with a plan to “not go out.” We’ll see if it sticks. — Carrie Bell
