One thing to be aware of is that not all affirmations are created equal, and depending on where you are in relation to what you want vibrationally will determine what affirmations will work best for you.

Here’s what I mean by this…

Saying a weight loss affirmation like “I lose weight quickly and easily” can be a little too ‘forceful’ and direct for some.

You would think that this would be a GOOD THING but it can actually cause more resistance within you.

This is because, if you’ve been struggling with weight loss for quite some time, and it hasn’t been quick and easy for you, this thought might not be at all believable to you, therefore you will feel like you're lying to yourself when you say it.

And in order to make sure you are saying the right affirmations that are actually helping you to achieve your health and weight loss goals they need to FEEL GOOD when you say them.

They should act like a lighthouse gently guiding you towards your destination, helping to motivate and inspire you rather than ‘forcing’ you to change.

So here’s how you choose the perfect affirmations for your individual health and weight loss goals:

1. Say each affirmation slowly and really FEEL into what you are saying as this will give you the best chance of success.

Most people tend to rush through their affirmations because they think…

“If I just say them more often I’ll manifest what I want quicker”.

But the TRUTH is, it's not how many times you say them that matters, it's how much the affirmation is affecting you when you say it!

For this reason, saying an affirmation slowly 10 times can be WAY more powerful than rushing through it 50 times!

2. Place written or printed copies of your chosen affirmations in power spots throughout your home.

Power spots are places in your home where you often have time to think, ponder, daydream 💭

These can become manifesting hot spots when you place specific anchors or reminders there.

For example: sticking your affirmations on the outside of your shower so you can read or practice them while you’re washing your hair, placing them next to your computer while you work or even near where you meditate or journal.

3. Repeat your affirmations while looking at your vision board.

Lastly, one of my favorite ways to practice affirmations is while I am looking at my vision board because the subconscious mind responds more powerfully when there is imagery with your thoughts!

To do this I will gaze at my vision board then close my eyes and repeat the affirmation so I am HOLDING the vibration of what I want.

Daily Routine For Repeating Positive Affirmations

Now that you’ve chosen the best affirmations for your health and weight loss goals, and you know how to make them more effective, it's time to IMPLEMENT!


Because without implementation your affirmations won’t work.

Here is a simple daily routine you can use to get into the habit of repeating your affirmations so that you start to reap the benefits.

Morning:

Repeat your chosen affirmations 10 x times in the morning.

Make sure you say them slowly and really FEEL into what you are saying.

If you have a vision board that depicts your health and weight loss goals, say them while you look at the images on your board.

The subconscious mind responds more powerfully when there is imagery with your thoughts!

Throughout The Day:

Rather than setting yourself a time in the middle of the day to say your affirmations (which can be tricky to uphold with day to day activities) make sure you have your affirmations written down somewhere where you will see them often instead.

This way you will be REMINDED of them but not feel tied to “needing” to remember to say them.

When we set unrealistic goals for ourselves, and we fail at meeting them, we then feel like we want to throw in the towel and give up altogether. To overcome this, make sure you set REALISTIC routines for yourself and build on them as you start to master them. This way you’ll always be creating momentum and moving closer to where you want to be.

Some ideas where you can have your affirmations written: on your phone, next to your computer, bathroom mirror, car visor, shower screen, meditation space, vision board.

Evening:

Just before you fall asleep at night make sure you say your affirmations again 10 x times.

The period just before falling asleep is a very powerful time for manifesting and affecting the subconscious mind.

Say your affirmations slowly and really feel into what you are saying and if you can visualize what you want as well (this will activate the Law Of Assumption).
