With NPC outfits often leaving a bit to be desired, those most fashion conscious Sims can become Style Influencers, working toward either styling Sims or creating the hottest trends.

Style Influencer Career Overview
Be It Or Make It: Choose Between Trendsetter And Stylist
For those most invested in Create-a-Sim, the Style Influencer career may be the right move for you. With this career, you'll be giving makeovers and setting the latest style trends!
You don't get to choose your specialty until Level Five in the Style Influencer career, but it gives you plenty of time to begin building the necessary skills. And that's good, because there are plenty of skills required for each path.
The two career paths available in The Sims 4 Style Influencer career are:
- Trendsetters are the ones out there in the streets making a statement with their clothing and accessories.
- Stylists, meanwhile, are focused on keeping up a social media presence, which entails all kinds of creativity.
Regardless of which career path you choose, you'll need to work on four skills:
- Charisma
- Painting
- Photography
- Writing
None of the skills need to be maxed, but you'll find yourself dedicating plenty of time to all the creativity needed to advance your career. You will, however, need to reach certain skill levels to keep your final promotion, so be sure to keep advancing your skills.
The skills do begin appearing in the earliest days of the Style Influencer career, so it's a good idea to build a skill or two before applying.
Make A Name With Get Famous
For those playing with the Get Famous expansion pack becoming a Style Influencer is a great way to gain fame.
The majority of your work for the Style Influencer career can and regularly will lend to your fame level, with the majority of your required skills boosting fame naturally.
For instance, since you'll need to learn the Painting skill, you can sell paintings for some quick cash while leveling your skill, which also increases your fame level.

With the low starting pay taking a while to become truly profitable, if your Sim already has what they need to influence, most of these reward items sell for a good amount of money!
See NPCs Wearing Your Trends
You'll unlock the ability to set trends depending on which branch of the Style Influencer career you've chosen, but once you start creating them, you'll see your work around town if it's truly the next trendy thing.
Trends are split between masculine and feminine frames, and you're able to create up to five trends per frame.
After creating trends, you may see NPC Sims wearing the exact outfit you created. You can also give them a makeover to manually put them into it, but it's always neat to see them rocking your looks unprompted!
