Destined at Christmas stars Shae Robins & Casey Elliott. The movie follows Kim and Theo who meet on Black Friday shopping and there is spark between them, but the couple gets separated due to panic. Both of them can’t forget each other and try to search with little information. Can destiny bring back them together? The film was written & directed by Utahn, Brittany Wiscombe, and shot in & around Weber and Utah counties. The sequel, Destined 2: Christmas Once More premiered in 2023.

A Cozy Christmas Inn follows real estate exec, Erika, travels to Alaska during the holidays to acquire a B&B, only to discover it’s owned by her ex. Soon she is falling in love with the town and quite possibly him. Starring Jodie Sweetin and David O’Donnell. The film is a sequel to the filmed-in-Utah Christmas Under Wraps (2014), Hallmark’s highest-rated movie of all time.

Falling for Christmas features the return of Lindsay Lohan in her first lead role in nearly a decade. Lohan plays a spoiled heiress that lands in the cozy care of a down-on-his-luck widower (Chord Overstreet) and his daughter at Christmastime after losing her memory in a skiing accident. The film had the fourth-biggest opening weekend for a Netflix original in November 2022 and most of the filming was done in Salt Lake, Summit and Wasatch counties, most notably the Goldener Hirsch in Park City and the Blue Boar Inn in Midway.

Lacey Chabert stars as Emily in Haul Out the Holly who unexpectedly spends the holidays alone at her parents’ house, when their HOA insists that she participate in its many Christmas festivities. Filmed around the Cottonwood Heights neighborhood of Salt Lake County, this Hallmark original movie is Chabert’s 12th holiday film with the network and also stars Wes Brown, Stephen Tobolowsky, Melissa Peterman and Ellen Travolta. The sequel Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up premiered in 2023.
Christmas with the Campbells

The traditional holiday romance movie directed by Utahn, Clare Niederprum, gets a little more fun this year with an adult spin from co-writers Vince Vaughn (Couples Retreat) and Dan Lagana (American Vandal). In Christmas with The Campbells, when Jesse gets dumped right before the holidays by her boyfriend Shawn, his parents convince her to still spend Christmas with them, and Shawn’s handsome cousin, while Shawn is away. Starring Brittany Snow, Justin Long, Alex Moffat and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, the holiday comedy shot all around Salt Lake, Summit & Utah counties.
