Is it possible to see everything yellow through a grey xtractive with the blue mirror? My eyecare provider insists the base is grey but I am having difficulty accepting this when looking through it everything looks yellow! Should I send them to the transitions company for examination?

I got my first pair of transitions and they were the best. They darkened very much like sunglasses while I was driving and out on the light. It was great. Wore them for 5 years even though the prescription changed, I was able to wear them with a light astigmatism. Now I got a new pair and they suck. They don’t darken like they used to. What happened? Did I have a rogue pair?
