Type F plugs

Very similar to type E but with two grounding clips = two clips that are inserted into the two pins of the wall plug. This is used in: there is still a residual presence in many countries of Europe, including Spain, and in Jordan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam.

The Type E electrical plug is identified by two round pins spaced 19mm apart, with a hole for the socket's male grounding pin. Type E outlets will also accept Type C plugs, and Type E plugs will also work in Type F outlets.

Type F plugs have two earthing clips instead of female earthing contact. These clips are located on the upper and lower sides of the plug housing, which is 16 mm from the midpoint of the imaginary line connecting the pins.

Type C: Europe, Russia, Asia

Compatible in most of continental Europe, Russia, and much of Asia outside China, this plug consists of just two round pins. Type C adapters are also compatible with Type N adapters in Brazil—but not anywhere else in South America.

European Schuko uses the Type F plug. Type F electrical plugs used in European Schuko are manufactured to the CEE 7/4 and CEE 7/7 standards and is commonly referred to as a Schuko plug. The line and neutral plug contacts for European Schuko Type F plugs are two round pins with a 4.8 millimeter diameter.

S for start and F for finish identifies the polarity of the windings.
