I have bought and sold safely.The real problem is customer service: you never get to talk to anyone, and they just do not give a s*** and reply with template emails. If everything goes smooth then ok. But the moment you have a problem with the parcel or the purchase you won't get ANY help. So, why are the buyers paying the service commission?I lately had a very bad exoerience, thry literally STOLE 20 euros, so I won't be recommending to anyone anymore.

Absolute joke of a company. Still now haven't received my item and the tracking information is still on there for proof saying it hasn't been delivered. Yet there's nothing Vinted can do. SHOCKING do not recommend at all. Pictures to follow of how poorly they handle customer service.

Tracking information given to site to show my order hasn’t been delivered and they still can’t do anything and don’t care.

The item I bought got lost and Vinted refused to help in any way. They even marked the item as received, despite me saying that I didn't have it, so that I have no way of getting a refund. Dpd have even confirmed that they lost it! I've read a huge number of reviews from people who have received the same treatment when an item has gone missing - Vinted can't do anything because of their 'procedures'. I used to be a big fan but not anymore - I've lost a lot of money.

If you can, avoid dealing with this company, they take your money, take a *protection fee* which is not worth the paper it's written on.
When a parcel turns up which you didn't order it takes the power of the gods, like parting the dead Sea to get anywhere, remember what I said... you've paid a protection fee,...
Take your money and run company, customer service... non existing... just run through the motions. IQ's drop dramatically
When you have a complaint, just a "read off a que card" rubbish!

Been selling/buying on this site for months now and getting more and more frustrated with CS. Buyer didn't pick up item so was returned to me but lost in the process. I've reported this to vinted multiple times and keep getting told different responses! One said I was going to get a refund transferred as timeframe has passed which never arrived and when queried again was told to wait longer. So which is it?! Terrible customer service when something goes wrong. Will not be using this site again.

The first time I used Vinted and the courier company damaged my item. The buyer confirmed to Vinted that it was packed according the rules on their website but Vinted somehow decided that it wasn't (of course they don't want to compensate me anything). So, I lost my parcel, I lost my money and Vinted just says "sorry". Unbelievable! Never I will use Vinted again and will not recommend it to anyone! Disgusting company

My account got blocked, no reasons were given. Did not get any kind of warning as to what Im done wrong on the site earlier, just straight permanent block in my account all of a sudden. Repeatedly tried to contact CS for 2 months now, just to receive no answer whatsoever. Company like this, and they've got no phone number, god damn ludicrous… Seems impossible to get in touch with them at all

The customer service at Vinted have created a set of rules that allow them to tell you they cannot help. I lost money on minted through their rule of not giving any kind of guarantee to the sale. When these kind of things have happened before on eBay or Amazon they immediately refunded me, but vinted just send out condescending messages saying "we understand and are sympathetic, but we won't help you"

Vinted payment program does not always work so if you want the item you have to pay for it twice. I have been waiting 10 business days now to get my money back, 36.99 euros. They keep procrastenating it. I was told 5 days, then 10 days, now 15 business days. I believe Vinted is going to keep the money. Annoying and unnecessary stress. They sent me a label that didn't work, the scanner said the code doesn't exist so I contacted customer services and they just sent replies unrelated to my question. I was asked to provide details which I did only to receive a computer generated reply completely ignoring the details I sent. It was just going round in circles… very frustrating. I then received a warning that if I didn't send the item they would cancel the order and I would receive a negative review. Absolutely shocking!

This app is a joke, my account was first blocked without any pre-notification, this happened months ago I had several attempts contacting them, mainly asking how my account could be restored and now I tried withdraw my balance which failed...on top of this they sent me an email after the failed withdrawal where they recommend me to contact them in the provided link " contact us" that led me to page which said it is not available because my account is blocked. Complete joke.

Waste your time and clobber on Vinted. Useless Customer Service. Scammers will buy your item and want to keep it for free with false claims of 'not as described'. Vinted would force seller to accept the return in 2 days otherwise refund the buyer. If return is accepted, buyer will damage the item before returning and Vinted would refund the buyer anyway even when the damage would be reported. Complete scam.

Unfortunately my item was sent back to seller, when I opened dispute about this, my money was released to seller as stated delivered (it was in fact delivered back to the seller, & shown this on tracking too) but customer service too lazy to do job properly & look at tracking properly (Savana) so ive no items & the seller got to keep my money. Unfortunately your not protected well when buying through Vinted. Its not safe, avoid

Some OK sellers on Vinted, but when you get a scammer - & you will, as Vinted help them to thrive - then Vinted will blank you. So-called "Customer service* cut you off, as all they care about is taking a cut regardle$$ of who gets ripped-off or how un-safe their dodgy site is - they even have cheek to charge 'buyer protection' fee, so that if /WHEN you need help, you'll soon realise it's useless - Bl**dy awful company :(

Terrible. To Avoid. Negative stars. Dont waste your time with this app. No way to messgae buyer or seller before purchasing. No stock photos. Return policy at your own expense. They block your listings without verification. Always have to email them for them to see they messed up. Customer service is careless and doesn't even read. Feels like you're dealing with useless robots.

The worst service I ever had.
The account was blocked in the first hour because I uploaded a "not original" product. For this case, I attached photos that confirm the originality of the products. Support saw my message but did not answer. Terrible website.

Absolutely unbelievable, I sold something and the courier who you are forced to use (evri) broke the item, leaving a clear footprint on the packaging. Vinted have refunded the buyer but not me as a seller. This is not the first time items have gone missing, been broken or had long delays. I'm closing my account because the "support team" are not helpful and refusing a refund, leaving me out of pocket. I won't return to buy or sell in the future

Exactly as per the title. How dare Vinted let honest buyers be left out of pocket when faced with dishonest sellers. This is outrageous. Again, big companies against little people and we lose. It's time for change.
Tip for consumers:
Vinted force you to pay to return falsely described items at your own expense. This is against UK contract law. Vinted seem happy with this - no wonder! -They're still making money!

No buyer protection. Any problems Vinted do not want to know. They just take your money. Seller can sale you something that's nothing like the item they have listed and Vinted say sort it out yourself.

Opened an account. Started to advertise genuine items that I no longer wanted. 4 items later, I had a notification saying that my account was blocked for suspicious activity. Apparently I didn't meet their guidelines even tho every item was genuine and showed clear pictures showing labels etc. Staff unhelpful and refused to do anything. Contacted them requesting to delete my account. If they're reading this, you really need to get your act together. Employ the right sort of people and not kids who clearly don't know what they're doing! Can't be doing with this kind of rubbish. I will revert back to ebay where I deal with professional people and not amateurs. Would not recommend Vinted.

Verified purchase
Purchased an item fortunately under £10 but it did not arrive. Asked seller to send picture or proof of delivery which was ignored. Vinted sent numerous forms which we completed & sent back but these also were ultimately ignored. Customer service non existent. Won't ever use again.

I don't recommend this application. Sellers are not supported enough. Buyer can skip to collect the items and you will wait 15 days to get back your parcel and lost on top other potentials buyes because of useless buyers. Shameful service!
