I just saw online that Eating Well is no longer published too! It only offers quarterly special magazines.

They switched me over to the other magazine, but it is not the same. and will not renew. Seems like to me that we really don’t have anything to do with weight watchers. But l went only online because I don’t like the way the meetings are done. Don’t know who owns weight watchers now but looks like to me they are trying to destroy it.

Hi Patricia, I thought the same thing when they stopped weight watchers magazine a few years back. I completely understand. It would be great if they saw that need. I do know they offer some great recipe books. I have linked a few in this post. Hopes this helps.

I am disappointed that the WW magazine had gone. I went back onto subscription during Covid as I couldn’t get to meetings. I got it for the articles and inspiring stories. Am not a really good cook and eat what I know. Very sad about magazine as it was the highlight of the month when it came.

The magazine and my local workshop were my favourite parts of ww, and now both have gone. I spend a lot of my working life online so I do not enjoy apps etc despite the fact that the ww app is quite good. I have a lot of meetings online so I dont want a virtual workshop either. Very disappointed in ww overall. Covid has been used as an excuse to wind down local operations, or that is how it seems to me. Losing the magazine is the last straw!

      Hi Sile,
While I don’t work for ww or have an affiliation with them, I did notice that they switched over to Eating Well before covid. I know a lot of people enjoyed that magazine especially with points included in their recipes.

I am very disappointed in “WW and their decision to end the magazine. I had just bought a 2 year subscription and they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me even though they had already made the change .. Eating Well Is a nice enough magazine but not WW Nothing about points to make it easier to use receipts in the magazine. Nothingabout the people who succeed or have challenges. I now they think the app is good enough but not everyone cares about social media. That does not help me.

      Hi Hope,

I 100% agree with you. I can recall writing this post out originally. I was looking for a weight watcher magazine deal myself and could not find any. I had no idea they discontinued it. They finally started doing some digging and behold… they did. It was very disappointing. WW was encouraging with relatable stories of weight loss, the recipes incorporated point structures. I am not sure what happened, but I felt like others needed to know their alternative. Thank you for commenting. I wish I could help bring back the publishing of the WW Magazine.
