Blackpink is undoubtedly K-pop’s biggest girl band, and also one of the music industry’s most lucrative. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé each have an estimated net worth of US$20 million.
Last month, all four band members renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for Blackpink group activities, but – in a landmark move – the four did not renew their individual contracts for their solo activities. Instead, they will each be branching out on their own terms in 2024 – opening themselves up to new and hopefully lucrative business opportunities.

That doesn’t mean the band is deprioritising its group activities, however. In a press statement regarding the renewed contract, YG stated that Blackpink is set for a new album and a world tour, adding, “Blackpink will continue to do its best to shine even brighter in the global music market as an artist representing not only our company but also K-pop. And we send our unwavering support and faith to [fans].”
The group’s lucrative Born Pink World Tour, which ran from October 2022 to September 2023, secured the top spot on Billboard Boxscore’s list of the Top 10 Highest Grossing K-pop Tours of 2023. At US$148.3 million, Born Pink also holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing world tour ever by a female group – a record previously held by the Spice Girls.
So what does 2024 have in store for Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé, and how will they take their careers and individual fortunes to new heights in 2024? Here’s what we know so far.
Lalisa Manobal, 26
As an ambassador for luxury brands including Bulgari, Celine, Mac and Prada, Thai “It” girl Lisa is already a busy woman. But, like her bandmate Jennie, Lisa is rumoured to be dipping her toes into the acting pool this year.
Media outlets worldwide have widely speculated that Lisa will be joining the cast of The Walking Dead for its next season. Lisa was seen travelling between Seoul and Paris, where the series was filming, and in November she was spotted at a Champions League football match in the company of Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus. Both Reedus and the TV show’s official Instagram account started following the singer soon after, giving fans possible hints of what’s to come.
Whatever direction Lisa decides to take, she’ll probably make an impact. Last month, the rapper was voted the most influential figure among politicians and celebrities in Thailand, in a survey of more than 7,000 people conducted by Bangkok’s Suan Dusit University.
