"Queen Elizabeth’s clothes are a constant source of comment in the media. So, when she finally gets tired of it, she will hand it to one of her dressers. They can either wear it or sell it," said Brian Hoey, author of a 2011 book about the life of Queen Elizabeth, entitled "Not in Front of the Corgis", according to "The Royal UK".
"There is one provision. All labels must be removed and anything that could possibly identify it as having come from royalty obliterated," added the royal expert.

Many of the fancy clothes Queen Elizabeth wears at public events are designed and made at Buckingham Palace by Mary Angela Kelly and her team.
Angela Kelly (born 4 November 1957, Liverpool) was taken on as a dresser in 1993 after working as a housekeeper for a British diplomat. She has served as Personal Assistant and Senior Dresser to Queen Elizabeth II since 2002 and creates all of her outfits, from day dresses to evening gowns.
The British fashion designer, dressmaker, and milliner sketches at least four different designs for a particular piece of fabric. From those, Her Majesty can choose.
