If youexport your Shopify gift cards, you will notice a gift card ID field. However, it is important to note this is different from the gift card code.
- Gift card codes are 16 digit alphanumeric codes that are used as payment methods when a user redeems a gift card.
- Gift card IDs are simply an internal reference number linked to each gift card in the Shopify system. This ID cannot be used to pay for items or redeem a gift card.
- For security reasons,there are limited ways to see the full gift card code.
