MV Ceramics' story begins when Maria Vera Chiari was 12 years old, and would stroll through museums and gaze at the archaeological finds, wanting to replicate the smooth terracotta vases. During their trips to Morocco they would visit various artisans and realised there was a gap in the market for a carpet business in Milan. In November 2022, they opened Casa Amar, where the scent of orange blossom and rosewater infused around the store transports you to their special place, and the carpets are the perfect mix of old and new, with contemporary patterns made in traditional methods.
