The Bombay Samachar, now Mumbai Samachar, is the oldest and still existing newspaper in India. Established in 1822 by Fardunjee Marzban, it is published in Gujarati and English. The paper passed through various hands before coming into the hands of the Cama Family, its present publishers in 1933, and Hormusji N Cama, the present director of the publication.
