Why do private servers cost Robux?

I've thought to myself while playing the game almost constantly, why do private servers cost 100 Robux? It doesn't let you play any map without needing to wait for it to spawn or anything special like that, it just gives you an empty lobby. The only use it currently has is guaranteed solo servers, which isn't even that good. Here's my question, why would I reasonably buy that? Even if I were to buy it, chances are I'd use it only for like a few days at best. I don't understand the logic of the devs at all in this situation, it's literally just buying something that you already have.

Literally, TDS private servers give advantages, as they allow for easy grinding with friends and solo, and once you have all the major towers (Minigunner, Ranger, Commander, etc), you really don't even need to grind Golden skins, since they give such little advantage.

Those are easily grind able in pubs, and even if you wanted to play with friends you're still fine, just get 3 friends and lock the map with them by entering it all at once, it's literally only good with solo players, who still don't get much out of it because it's easy to get a solo server by going into a map labeled normal

VIP servers offer privacy, being the main draw of getting a VIP server. In such a server, you and your friends can enter a match free from interference from other players. It can also be used to gather up players for some sort of event, however that works.

Its kind of like making an appointment for a specific table at a restaurant when you could walk in and pick a table.

Well maybe, but the issue I find is that it provides nothing beyond what's normal, wherein making a reservation at a restaurant will cost a bit more but at least let you skip the line, the main draw of a private barely matters unless someone is actively out to ruin your day by joining your matches, which rarely ever happens in the first place. The reason I make this kinda bold claim is that you're usually able to just join a map and solo it from public servers just fine without issue. Even with the "gathering players" argument, it's not that big of a deal because you only need 4 people, yourself included, to completely close an elevator in a public. The main reason I make this post is because you're paying for no benefit compared to pubs because literally the only thing it offers doesn't matter, and unless that changes it's gonna stay kinda useless. At least in my eyes it will.

Here's an idea: Private servers are a small room with a single elevator, when the host of the private server enters that elevator, a GUI with 4 tabs, labelled "normal", "mega", "hardcore", and "event" will display, normal has 4 player lobby and maps, mega has 6 player lobby and maps, hardcore has the hardcore mode lobby and maps, and event has the current event lobby and map, and instead of the lobby going to the map being based on a timer, it goes whenever the host presses "start" on the GUI after selecting a map. This would not only justify the current pricetag, but probably justify any price tag up to and including 500 robux, as it would provide slight indirect advantages to grinding playstyles
