Yellowstone: Wes Bentley discusses Beth and Jamie's past
Yellowstone finished airing its third season last month, leaving fans of the Paramount Network drama desperate to know what happens next. Thankfully, the channel has already confirmed there is another series of Yellowstone on the horizon. When the new episodes will come out though is unclear and could take some time thanks to the coronavirus pandemic delaying filming for many shows.

Yellowstone series three will be one to remember as there were some big moments from start to finish.
A major revelation had to do with Jamie Dutton (played by Wes Bentley) who had to retrieve his birth certificate for an errand.
Little did he know though that on his certificate, there was no sign of Dutton but Randall as Jamie was actually adopted.
This later led to Jamie confronting John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and tracking down his real father Garrett Randall (Will Patton).

While Jamie talked about being adopted with John, he wasn't seen discussing it with either Beth (Kelly Reilly) or Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes).
He didn't even talk to them when he did find his biological dad Garrett.
So fans have been questioning if either of his siblings know Jamie is actually adopted.
Albeit short, there is one moment which shows Kayce is aware of Jamie's adoption.

In the third series, Jamie says to Kayce: "I need some advice, brother... If I can still call you that."
Kayce then replies: "Until the day you die, you better never call me anything else."
This shows Kayce does know about Jamie not being his biological sibling but is accepting of him anyway.
However, whether or not Beth knows this fact is not as clear cut.

In series two, Beth told her dad how he could never love Jamie like he loved her and Kayce.
When they have argued in the past, Beth said Jamie was "born genetically evil", indicating he is not from the same heritage.
However, she has never clearly brought up the point about Jamie's adoption and as she has a fiery hatred for him, it does seem like something she would use against him.
When Beth was pregnant at 15, Jamie drove her to have an abortion and agreed for her to get sterilised to take away her abilities to have children.
Since then, Beth has detested Jamie and so seems unlikely she would have held back him not being a real Dutton during arguments.

Who knows what should become clearer in season four of Yellowstone which has been confirmed.
As Jamie's father Garrett is on the scene, Beth and Kayce are bound to meet him at some point.
However, this depends on if they both survive their ordeals from the series three finale.
Will they get a chance to talk to Jamie again or is it too late for either of the Dutton siblings?
