Good American has teamed up with one of the world’s biggest fast-fashion brands.
On Thursday, the women’s apparel brand founded by Emma Grede and Khloe Kardashian announced the launch of a partnership with Spanish fast-fashion retailer Zara. A size-inclusive, limited-edition denim and basics capsule collection is slated to drop at U.S. Zara stores, as well as its e-commerce site, on May 5.
The line furthers the duo’s shared mission of democratizing fashion by promoting accessibility. Good American spent five years researching and developing an extended range of denim styles for women of diverse sizes and shapes, while Zara aims to provide trend-forward, affordable fashion.
The collection features five jeans along with a denim jumpsuit, a denim shirt and shacket, and basic T-shirts and tanks. Jeans are available in slim and skinny high-rise, a relaxed, ’90s-influenced baggy style, and a high-rise, flared silhouette, showcasing Good American’s signature gap-proof waistbands. The company’s proprietary sculpting stretch fabrication from Bossa allows the jeans to hold their shape throughout multiple wears without bagging out. Available in sizes 00-30, or XS-5XL, the line retails for $35.90-$99.90, with jeans priced starting at $69.90.
The collection incorporates recycled and ecologically grown cotton in line with Good American’s B Corp certification in October. Meanwhile, the line adheres to the standards of Zara’s Join Life range of eco-friendly apparel prioritizing preferred natural materials like organic cotton, Tencel and recycled wool. Factories that conduct wet processing for the the primary fabric used in the Join Life line must be evaluated by the Green to Wear Standard of environmental sustainability.
In keeping with Good American’s inclusive ethos, the capsule’s creative campaign features diverse body types.
