There are some streets in Phoenix where it will cost you a pretty penny to live.
Zillow released this week an analysis of the most expensive streets to live on across the country, including the nine priciest streets in greater Phoenix.
These are the streets where your income needs to be a lot closer to Wall Street than Main Street.
It's not at all surprising that the priciest street to live on in metro Phoenix is in Paradise Valley.
At $10.8 million, Cameldale Way in Paradise Valley boasts the highest median home value in the Valley, making it the most expensive street to live on in the region.
That's eye-popping for sure. But it still pales in comparison to the priciest street in America. That distinction, according to Zillow, goes to Indian Creek Island Road in Florida, where the median home value is $21.48 million.
Interestingly, all the priciest street names Zillow analyzed were names rather than numbers. The reasoning behind this, according to Zillow, is, in general, the most valuable street names describe something about a home’s location.
Frankly, I'm not sure what's so telling about Cameldale Way. But then again, my net worth doesn't begin to approach the levels of those in Paradise Valley who call the street home.
