Can I add a border on Walgreens Photo?
Can I add text or a border to my TilePix? Just like all our Walgreens Photo gifts, you can personalize your frames with your favorite photos, custom text, borders, and embellishments.
Having a border added to your print is recommended and provides some benefits that you may not have considered. One of the advantages giclee printing has to offer over your standard photo print is the accessibility to inclusions of extra borders.
For all types of cards, you have the ability to use your own images, select a full photo card, or a multi-image design, and choose the font and color you would like to use for a personal message. Please note that some of our card designs will print the Walgreens logo on the back of the card.

Pricing. Walgreen's pricing for photo prints starts at $0.19 per print for 4×6 images, while CVS charges $0.29 per print for the same size. However, CVS offers discounts for larger print orders, so it's cheaper to order prints in bulk.
The principle is that the photograph takes up 80% of the print. The two sides take up 10% of the width. The top of the border takes up 7% and the bottom border 13% of the height. By using these dimensions, there is space at the bottom of the border to add a description, a signature and an edition number.
- Open your image.
- Crop your photo to 3.75x4.75 (for a 1/4 in border)
- Go to image, resize, Canvas size.
- Set it to 4x6in with a white canvas extension colour.
- Print away!
Images with a white border
As an artist you understand the importance of the ratio of an image, as well as the need for empty space around it. By framing it with white you clearly show to people that your image is intended to be seen like this, you control that viewing process.
All photos must be in JPEG (. jpg), PNG (. png) or HEIC file format. There is no limit to the number of images that you can upload.
Can I upload a PDF to Walgreens photo?
While Walgreens supports almost all JPG/JPEG and PNG images produced by modern cameras and smart phones, we don't support the following file types and sizes: TIFF, PSD, AI, PDF, CMYK and WEBP file types.
In the "Save as Type" drop down box, make sure to select JPEG , PNG or HEIC and the click save.

Border prints are a special fabric with a design. This design is usually along one lengthwise edge (parallel to the selvage). Some border prints will have this design along both lengthwise edges of the fabric. Many come with a coordinating print.

Perhaps the best thing you can do to make high-quality digital photo prints at home is to use specialty photo paper. Either glossy or matte photo paper works much better than standard printing paper. But because specialty photo paper can be expensive, be sure to only print your best photos on it.

- Push the flexipoints back down to sandwich the frame components in place.
