Do curve love jeans stretch out?
Curve Love Low Rise 90's Straight Jeans
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised! They have a slight stretch to them, while still having a true denim feel. I have a little room throughout my hips and in the legs.
But the big difference is in the hip measurements. The Curve Love jeans have a 2″ wider cut in the hips. So on the jeans I have on below, the regular mom jeans (the first ones) have a 38.5″ cut in the hips while the Curve Love (below) have a 40.5″ hip.
However, Abercrombie jeans ARE true to size now, so toss that teenager dressing room trauma out the window. I wear a 25 or a 26, and the 25s are perfect on me. The 26 work but are looser in the waist, of course. (For detailed sizing reference, I'm 5″1, 116 lbs, and wear a 25).
“Ultra high rise” is the title Abercrombie & Fitch gives to their jeans with the highest rise option that they sell. The regular waistbands have a rise of 11 ½”, with the criss-cross waistband measuring 10” at the middle (where it slightly dips into the v shape).
The easiest, quickest way to shrink denim is to wash and dry them on the hottest temperatures possible—similar to the way that washing your favorite sweater in hot water and putting it in the dryer is something you try to avoid because it will shrink." A similar technique trades the washing machine for a pot of boiling ...
— Mom Jeans: High rise, slightly tapered & cropped straight leg. — Girlfriend Jeans: High rise, slim & cropped straight leg. — Boyfriend Jeans: Low rise, loose & cropped straight leg. — Dad Jeans: High rise, loose straight leg.
After years of gravitating toward cropped jeans, these full-length ones not only feel super flattering, but just feel cool. They're a little more rigid of a fit for me, but I find that they're still extremely comfortable and I love that they don't stretch throughout the day.

How do you wash Abercrombie jeans?
Turn them inside out, and either wash them in cold water in the sink or in the bathtub, where they can be placed down flat. After you've washed your jeans, make sure you rinse them thoroughly with cold water, so all the suds are washed out and the water runs clear, and then hang them up to dry.

The easiest way to shrink most types of pants is to put them in the dryer! You can also use a pot of boiling water, hot water in your washing machine, or a warm overnight soak to shrink your pants. If you need to shrink only a select area of your jeans, try using a hairdryer or an iron through a damp sheet.
Let us explain: A pair of raw-denim jeans typically shrinks 7% to 10% after the first wash and continues to conform to the wearer's body after every wash and wear. That's why it's crucial to keep shrinkage in mind when buying a pair of raw-denim jeans.
How much will jeans shrink? In general, expect up to 3–4% shrinkage, which on a pair of jeans with a 32″ inseam would mean shrinking about 1″–1¼” in the length. The width is much less prone to shrinkage because there is less applied tension in that direction during fabric construction.
A general rule of thumb? If your hip is more than 10 inches wider than your waist, try curvy fit jeans. If you've had to size up for jeans to fit your hips, only to have them gap in the waist, you should try curvy fit jeans. They're designed for true hourglass shapes.
Dry, 100% cotton denim expands anywhere between one inch to 1.5 inches over a three month period of daily wear.
Curvy fit styles are designed with a longer rise and a narrower waist, which means less gaping. Most feature a little extra room through the hips and thighs so you're sure to get a perfectly comfy fit. Curvy jeans are about creating the right fit for women with all sorts of curves.
