At the height of the snowmobile craze in the 1960s, diversified manufacturer Textron (NYSE: TXT) acquired the company, which joined it with the E-Z Go golf cart company it had acquired. (Coincidentally, Textron acquired Arctic Cat in March of this year.)
Arctic Cat became a part of Textron in 2017. Our vehicles are now designed and built by Textron Specialized Vehicles, a division of Textron that also manufactures Cushman commercial and industrial utility vehicles, E-Z-GO golf cars, Jacobsen turf equipment and Textron Ground Support Equipment .

Can-Am came in as the third most reliable ATV brand. These machines are also considered top tier performance. Polaris ATV models came in fourth place for reliability. So, in reality, although these brands are sometimes docked for unreliability they are each respected in the ATV community as well.

Polaris is changing its manufacturing and sales strategies on the fly to cope with shortages of materials and parts and an unreliable global transportation system that has disrupted precise production planning.
The Honda is known for its reliability, simplicity to work on, a great ride, comfort for the rider and its ability to be nimble. The Polaris is smoother than glass across rough terrain, it has great power, the EBS works great, is very comfortable to ride and the power steering is top-notch.
The flagship RZR Pro R features a new 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces an impressive 225 horsepower. This is the biggest engine currently available in a side-by-side and it promises to make the Pro R an absolute beast off road.
While, in 2007, under a turbo boost, Polaris FST models produced 140 horsepower that engendered top speeds from quick acceleration. This is the same Weber Motors, now Textron Motors, that makes engines for Textron ATVs.
The partnership ended early, and Polaris no longer owns any of KTM. In 1998, Polaris launched its Victory motorcycle line. Only in the past few years has it actually turned a profit. Under Wine, Polaris has continued to journey beyond its powersports base.

Is Arctic Cat Better Than Polaris? Polaris is more reliable as a brand and normally offers sleds of higher quality than Arctic Cat. Polaris also has a wider range of vehicles to choose from. So, in our humble opinion, Polaris wins this one.
