Carry-on and personal items must be kept with you, stored in overhead racks, under seats or designated baggage areas. Most buses have baggage storage bins under the bus floor, and the bus driver will assist you.
Checked baggage service is available at a number of our stations and on many trains and Thruway Services. Not all trains or locations are equipped to handle checked baggage.
That's why you'll find that most train stations that do offer luggage storage on-location use automatic lockers, baggage scanners and sometimes even CCTV monitoring. These security measures help guarantee that no dangerous item is stored and that nothing happens to all stored items of baggage.
Where can I store luggage San Diego airport?
San Diego International Airport recently partnered with a new luggage service that lets travelers leave their bags to be stored off-site until they are ready to fly. While there are many baggage apps and services around, Baggage Nanny is the only one inside the airport, making it an easy one-stop option.

NBC Bay Area reveals that BART is “one of the most dangerous transportation systems in the country,” and details how rampant various crimes have become, and which stations are the worst for violent crime.
The safest BART stations were Pittsburg and West Dublin, which had no reported thefts in 2019, Millbrae, with one, and North Concord and South San Francisco, which each had two.
It's totally safe. If you want to minimize time spent outside the turnstyles (where problems are more likely to lurk), purchase a BART ticket with sufficient funds to travel to the airport earlier in the day. Then, just go straight through the turn-styles.
Guests may bring personal food items into the Zoo. Large food storage containers such as coolers are not permitted on grounds, and no facilities are available for food storage. Zoo guests who have already entered our parks may get their hand stamped for re-entry on the same day of their visit during operating hours.
You Can Carry Water Bottles and Other Drinks into the San Diego Zoo. Take your favorite water bottle with you into the Zoo. Bring that venti sized Starbucks mocha Frappuccino inside the gates.
It takes about three to four hours, at a minimum, to see the entirety of the zoo, but you could easily spend an entire day exploring the many entertainment options, trails, and exhibits.

How do I check my bags at the airport?

Taking bags to the ticket counter always works. Even passengers who check in online or at a self-service airport kiosk can take their checked bags to the counter. The airport may have a dedicated area just for luggage drop-off, or you may have to wait in line to reach an agent.

Arrive Early: Longer lines and wait times may result because of increased security measures. Plan to arrive two (2) hours prior to flight departures. Passengers are strongly encouraged to check with their respective airlines to verify schedules before coming to the Airport.
Sleeping in San Diego Airport Overnight. The San Diego Airport is open 24-hours, but all overnight campers are restricted to stay in the pre-Security, public areas once security checkpoints close for the night, around 12:00 AM.

Alcohol is permitted from noon until to 8:00 p.m. in the following locations: Botanical Building East Lawn and West Lawn; House of Pacific Relations Lawn; International Lawn; Mall Lawn; Moreton Bay Fig Lawn; Pan American Plaza Lawn; Recital Hall Lawn.
Weddings and picnics are permitted for up to 250 people, food is allowed and there are restrooms in the park. No inflatables or glass containers. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. From state Route 94, exit 25th Street and head north until 25th ends. Parking is free.

Parking in Balboa Park lots is free. Park in the Inspiration Point parking lot (on the east side of Park Blvd., between Presidents Way and the Balboa Park Activity Center) for easy access to the heart of Balboa Park via the free tram (please check the Tram Page for current operation schedule).

Beaches and bays - Alcohol is prohibited on San Diego's beaches and Mission Bay Park. Alcohol is also prohibited in parking lots adjacent to beaches and beach parks. Posted signs provide rules regarding alcohol policies.

What days are free at Balboa Park?
Yes, you heard it right Museums at Balboa Park offer free general admission on a rotating basis throughout each month to residents of the City and County of San Diego (with ID), as well as to active military personnel and their dependents.
Residents Free Tuesdays—as the Balboa Park free Tuesday is properly called—are a set of rotating Tuesdays that allow residents of the City and County of San Diego, and active military personnel to visit Balboa Park museums for free.
The Zoo is not included in the new annual pass; however, the current Explorer Week Pass/Zoo combo (7-day Explorer Pass with a one-day admission ticket to the Zoo) continues to be offered for visitors. The Explorer Week Pass/Zoo Combo is available for purchase at the Balboa Park Visitors Center.
Small photo shoots, like those for engagements, weddings and family photos, DO NOT need a permit. However, a photographer may be asked to move from an area that has been reserved, or if they interfere with recreational activities.
You can drive through the park and there is plenty of parking, especially at the Inspiration Point parking lot on Park Blvd. A tram will take you up to the heart of the park. It runs every 15 minutes or so.
