Has Kratos fought god?
Kratos is known for beating down literal gods in God of War, even going as far as killing them. These are ten that he took down and how he did it. The video game series is loosely based on Greek and Norse mythology. Many of the gods were introduced early in the series and recur throughout many games.
Along the way, Kratos kills a host of famous gods, including Poseidon, the God of the Sea; Hades, the God of the Underworld and husband to the late Persephone; Helios, the God of the Sun, whom Kratos decapitates; Hermes, the Messenger God, who won't be delivering any messages after Kratos tears off his legs; Hera, ...
3 Kratos Served The Olympian Gods For Ten Years
After serving Ares, rebelling, and going through a ton of trauma, Kratos served gods like Athena just so that they can erase his trauma. They had him serving them for ten long years. With that in mind, it is no wonder that Kratos grew to hate most of them.
Chmielewski states that the video game character Kratos draws extensively on other figures from Greek mythology, including the heroes Perseus, Theseus, and Achilles, but his strongest influence is the hero Heracles. The Greek-based games portray Kratos as brutal and violent towards innocents.
Kratos' Backstory in God of War
While he wouldn't know it for most of his life, Kratos was a demigod as he is the son of Zeus, but he would later become a full-on god, the God of War to be precise, after killing Ares.
God of War II
Kratos then joined the Spartan army in Rhodes, intent on destruction. Zeus, however, weakens Kratos and tricks him into abandoning his godly powers into the Blade of Olympus, which Zeus uses to kill him.
This is because, for a decade (10 years), Kratos had faithfully served the Olympian Gods, yet, he felt like they didn't care about him or respect him, despite him doing their bidding. Plus, he felt like he was just a pawn to be manipulated and would, ultimately, be killed off, once he's outlived his usefulness.
Other characters like Alucard, Ōnoki, Anos Voldigoad, Lelouch, Kaguya Otsutsuki, and many more possess unique abilities and powers that can disintegrate, immobilize, or overpower Kratos in combat.
Still, they have their own set of setbacks along the way, most of them because Kratos tried to hide Atreus' divine ancestry as well as he could. In the end, Atreus learns the truth about himself. He is part god, part giant, and has another name, Loki.
Although Kratos can exhibit some incredible feats of strength and has a history of killing what some might assume are unkillable and unstoppable gods, he is no match for Ragnarok itself. Ragnarok is the culmination of Surtr, his wife's heart, and the fire from the Blades of Chaos.

Kratos is not immortal, but the power he has from the gods means he is nearly impossible to kill and ages far slower than any normal person, which makes Kratos' age difficult to determine.
How old is Kratos in God of War Ragnarök? In God of War Ragnarök, it's likely that Kratos is around 1,055 years old. He's something of an old man, but as a demigod, he is still more than young enough to hold his own and then some in battle. Unfortunately, this is based on maths and educated guesses.
Kratos' Height
Early scripts listed him as 6 feet 6 inches tall, while recently, a Santa Monica Studio dev stated that Kratos is 7 feet 6 inches in the comic books and about 6 feet 4 inches in the game.
He becomes the full fledged God of war at the end, given the full powers of an olympian and of a God of war. GOW 2: At the beginning of the game, i would say this is where kratos is at his most powerful throughout the entire franchise, the only exception being at the end of GOW 3 when he uses the full power of Hope.
At the end of 2018's God of War, Kratos admits to his son Atreus that “I have killed many who were deserving, and many who were not." Both it and the sequel God of War: Ragnarök sees the Ghost of Sparta filled with regret about his past and seek redemption for it as the Norse apocalypse draws near.
Still, in terms of pure feats of physical strength, Kratos seems to have the advantage. However, that mostly has to do with Goku's lack of lifting feats in comparison to Kratos.
What God does Kratos hate the most? He doesn't “hate" the gods per se, he hated Ares and Zeus: The rest he simply disliked it. However, the Gods didn't really removed his nightmares as he thought it would happen, they just forgave him and the nightmares still kept going, pushing Kratos into the edge, and creating o.
Why did Kratos turn bad?
But when his forces are overwhelmed in battle, Kratos pledges his life to Ares, the god of war, to turn the tide. Ares tricks Kratos into severing his last remaining connection to his humanity, his family, who Kratos slaughters in a blind rage while pillaging in the god's name.
Fear Factor. Kratos is afraid of being found by others who might know of his deeds. He's afraid of how his legacy will come to affect Atreus, his son, and he's afraid that if the boy knows his history, he'll despise him.

Can Kratos actually beat Zeus?
6 Zeus (God Of Lightning)
The two powerhouses face off in a heated battle between father and son. Kratos stabs Zeus with the Blade of Olympus, then Zeus uses the blade against Kratos. But Kratos finishes the deed by beating Zeus to a bloody pulp with his bare hands (not unlike how he defeated Hercules).
However, Kratos did not kill all the gods, and there are close to a dozen Olympians that managed to survive Kratos' path of destruction.
1 God Of War Ragnarok (2022)
These are, without a doubt some of the strongest foes Kratos has ever faced, constantly pushing players to their limits. The hardest difficulty, “Give Me God of War,” is sure to accurately deliver the near-death experiences that come with being a god to the players.
Born a Spartan, Kratos held the military rank of General, before extracting his revenge on the Olympians who betrayed him.
It was mentioned earlier that Kratos was vulnerable to intangible things like the Furies' illusions. If he can't physically attack something, he's left at a disadvantage, logically enough. The same is true of mind control. The most notable example of this is Zeus' use of the power in God of War III.
Who was Ares? Ares was the ancient Greek god of war or, more properly, the spirit of battle. He represented the distasteful aspects of brutal warfare and slaughter.
According to Kratos, Atreus is named after a young Spartan soldier he once commanded. Kratos noted how hopeful Atreus was, often seen wearing a smile even during battle, until he fell to save the lives of his companions.
The leading theories include the possibility of Deimos' birthmark being genetic and Atreus' scars being related, as well as possible self-scarification as a young Atreus was trying to look more like his father. Alternatively, it's just a coincidence, and Atreus got his scars in an accident or fight.
The real-life explanation for why Kratos called Atreus "Boy" in God of War was that the developers at Sony Santa Monica weren't able to agree on Atreus' real name until relatively late in God of War (2018)'s production, but “Boy” soon became a popular meme for the game's fans and made Kratos all the more endearing in ...

Who would win Kratos or Jesus?
Both, in their own way, have regenerative powers. Kratos' is faster acting (he can heal wounds within minutes), while Jesus' is stronger (you may recall he rose from the dead). However, I'm gonna give this one to Kratos. In a fight, it's the stamina to keep going that counts.

I didn't really get why Kratos seemed remorseful for killing him but now I think the reason is just due to the fact that Kratos is the ashamed of the fact that he is a father killer and while Zeus didn't love Kratos, Kratos actually loves Atreus and doesn't want his son knowing that he killed his father because he is . ...
What if Kratos only killed Zeus?
What if Kratos only killed Zeus? "If all on Olympus oppose me then all on Olympus must die" --- I believe he says something along these lines , so pretty much if he killed Zeus the game would end shortly after. Athena says that if Zeus falls, Olympus falls, so I doubt it could be very early.
