How competitive is UAL?
Getting into UAL is no small feat in general, no matter which college you apply for. The university is the largest design and specialist university in Europe, but big doesn't mean there's room for everyone. The acceptance rate over the entire UAL is about 22% (with CSM coming in at only 6% acceptance rate).
The University has a world-class reputation and is made up of 6 equally renowned Colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, London College of Communication, London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Arts.
The acceptance rate of the University of the Arts London is relatively low, viz. 25.67% for all its national and international students. However, the university has more than half international students studying on its campus.
UAL is selective about who it works with, and actively seeks out providers that are innovative, creative, and committed to arts education. UAL Awarding Body qualifications have high retention and achievement rates, because they are flexible and equip students with the skills required to progress.
An IELTS score (or equivalent) of 6.0, or above, with 5.5 in each of the components. Certain courses require higher IELTS scores of 6.5, 7.0 or 7.5. List of language equivalencies accepted by UAL. LCF Study Abroad and Summer Study Abroad have varying IELTS entry requirements.

Getting into LCF (or any other colleges within UAL) isn't easy. The requirements are high, acceptance rates low and the competition is tough. But this is one of the reasons UAL is ranked number two in the world: there is an intense selection process even before students set foot on the various campuses.
British universities in general there is a varying degree of difficulty getting in depending on what course and college within the university you apply for. UAL is no different in this respect but when I was there is was a lot easier to get in if you were international.
The acceptance rate at University of the Arts is 74%.
For every 100 applicants, 74 are admitted. This means the school is lightly selective. The school will have their expected requirements for GPA and SAT/ACT scores. If you meet their requirements, you're almost certain to get an offer of admission.

Five in six offers made by Suffolk have an unconditional element, The Tab's analysis of UCAS data has found, putting them top of the table. Just behind them, 76 per cent of Falmouth's offers in 2019 were unconditional, whilst big hitters Royal Holloway and Birmingham also used the offers to lure students.
How rare is an unconditional offer?
The stats mean unconditional offers are at a record level. Four per cent of offers were unconditional in 2017, compared to six per cent in 2018, and seven per cent in 2019. The Guardian reports that 25 per cent of applicants overall received an unconditional offer.

The qualification attracts 72, 120 and 168 UCAS tariff points for Pass, Merit and Distinction grades respectively. The qualification is rigorously assessed via a process of internal assessment and external moderation of a final major project. The assessment is summative, synoptic and graded.

I still think it depends on your college and the course you applied for. I sent my portfolio on the 5th of December and got an interview offer 5 days later. Right after the interview, I received a verbal offer, which appeared on UCAS a week later.
