How much money did Gus pay Walt?
Gus is pleased with the quality of Walt's blue meth and offers him $3 million for three months of his time to cook more in a high-tech "superlab" hidden under an industrial laundry that Gus owns. Walt initially refuses, but Gus eventually convinces Walt that he should cook for his family's financial security.
For example, at one point Gus offers Walt $3 million for three month's worth of meth cooking. That breaks down to $250,000 per week, $33,000 per day, $1388 per hour. And in season three we are told that Gus Fring will make $96 million off three month's of Walt's work producing 200 pounds of meth per week.
Ok, so initially, Walt needed $737,000. After working on his own and then with Gus, how much money did he have? There was a vague estimate of his NET earnings in 'Gliding Over All' but that was about it.

He knew Walter was dying of cancer and that (at least at the present time) was doing all of this to ensure his family would be financially secure. Gus would have no reason to lie to Walter. He also wanted the formula for the blue sky meth which would have put him in good favor with the cartel.
He agrees to pay Walt the $50,000, and tells him that his meth sold faster than any other product he had ever seen. Walt agrees to sell his next batch to Tuco, provided that payment is made upfront and that Tuco agrees to accept at least two pounds.
He knew the money he had organised for his family at the end would be more than enough to take care of them for the rest of their lives. At the end greed didn't factor, so he didn't care about the rest of the money.
For his son, Walter left a sum of 9 Million dollars as a parting gift. Walter then started walking on his path of revenge and make sure Jack's White Supremacist gang pays for what they did to him.
White accepts a $43,000 a year job teaching high school science in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Forlorn by his jaded students, he longs for the glory days when his research contributed to a Nobel Prize in proton radiography (though he resents that, unlike his fellow researchers, he never became rich.)
However, since Gus is able to make so much money for the cartel, he needs definitive proof. Up to this point, Gus is portrayed as the smartest person on the show, matched only by Walter White in Breaking Bad. In spite of this, Lalo is able to believably outmaneuver him at nearly every turn.
Who was Gustavo Fring's boyfriend?
The boyfriend Gould is referring to is Max Arciniega (James Martinez), who Breaking Bad fans will remember as Gus' friend and business partner.

Walter became dangerous once he developed his alter ego, Heisenberg. Certainly Gus underestimated him as a threat. But Walter spent most of his life as benign—he needed to develop cancer to feel his anger at lost opportunities. Walt was dangerous as Heisenberg when he felt thwarted and desperate.
In popular culture. In the episode "Abiquiu" of the US TV series Breaking Bad, the character Gus Fring, a prominent Chilean methamphetamine distributor in the southwest of the United States, prepares a paila marina for Walter White while explaining the origin of this typical Chilean dish.

Walter White may be fictional. But the $80 million profit he turned by selling meth in less than a year is a very realistic sum for a true-life drug kingpin. It's not until the last season of Breaking Bad that viewers learn just how much cash their favorite meth-making anti-hero has accumulated by cooking crank.
