Guidelines of Good Lookbook Design
Keep it short! If you're just starting out or you have a small collection, then 4 pages is perfect. Most companies will end up with 8-15 pages however so use them wisely. Use high-quality imagery and graphical elements; however, I wouldn't recommend using stock photography!
Professional photography is a must for lookbooks. Each product photo should be modeled in a way that shows its functionality or appeal to the potential customer. For example, an apparel lookbook should be able to reveal the fit, texture, and benefits of the piece of clothing easily in one image.
