What is the Cricut setting for Siser heat transfer vinyl?

Cricut EasyPress is lightweight, portable and compatible with Siser heat transfer vinyl.
You may need to increase the pressure settings 2-3 times by increments of 2-4 to see a change in the cut result. Attempt cutting a different material, such as printer paper, using the appropriate setting for that material.
What Temperature Do You Use for Heat Transfer Vinyl? The ideal temperature to use for heat transfer vinyl is between 260 ℉ to 315 ℉ (130 ℃ to 160 ℃) using medium pressure. It's important to read the product description of the heat press product before doing any work.
Adhesive Vinyl can come in all kinds of colors and finishes, but it will always have a paper backing and be sticky to the touch when that backing is peeled off. Heat Transfer Vinyl, on the other hand, does not have a paper backing. Instead, HTV, has a clear plastic carrier sheet that covers the top of the vinyl.
Preheat material for 10 to 15 seconds. Place the design onto the preheated material. Heat each part of the design for 50 seconds with firm pressure. Let cool completely and remove the lining.

The HTV needs to be kept between 100 and 305 degrees Fahrenheit. Press time can vary depending on the thickness of HTV, design size, and color. Avance Vinyls HTV should be treated according to the chart based on the material you are binding to. Light fabrics often require lower temperatures and lighter pressure.
Preheat garment in heat press or at 305° F for 2-3 seconds. Position EasyWeed application on garment and heat apply 305° F for 10-15 seconds on medium pressure. A teflon sheet should always be placed between the heat platen and the plastic carrier sheet to prevent sticking and edge damage to the transferred design.
Siser Easyweed is 0.09 mm thick and works well with cotton or linen-blend fabrics, making it the top choice for t-shirt vinyl.
What happens if you cut on wrong side of HTV?
BTW if you ever cut the wrong side, just turn it over and re-cut. Most brands the backing is thick enough that you didn't cut all the way through it anyway. It makes weeding a little more difficult because you now have two images, one reversed on the wrong side, but at least the vinyl isn't wasted.
10-15 seconds is the perfect pressing time. You don't want to scorch the adhesive by keeping the heat on too long and over pressing.
For Example: To heat apply EasyWeed® on a Heat Press we'd recommend 305°F. To heat apply EasyWeed on a Cricut EasyPress, we'd suggest 335°F. The time remains the same!
Cricut Iron-On is not quite as easy to use as Siser EasyWeed, so it's not quite the best iron on vinyl. It is a little thicker, so it requires deeper cut settings and takes much longer to transfer.
