What is Level E in iready?
Level E is an i-Ready Reading and Math level grade level ranking. Level E is 5th grade. Multiple characters such as Azul, G.O, and Olive appear in Level E. Level E is the last level in the Elementary School Line.
Level F is a level that appears in i-Ready Reading and Math lessons. Level F is equivalent to Grade 6. Many different characters appear in this level, including Dr. Rio, Luna, and others.
Level D Is The middle Of All Levels In i-Ready. Exactly halfway between all the other levels. This level has removed the characters Plory, Yoop, Major Peril and Minor Peril.
Level G is a level is i-Ready Reading and Math lessons. Level G is equivalent to 7th Grade in the United States. In these i-Ready lessons, the characters Max, Brandi, and Carrie will appear, along with other characters.
Level B is a Grade Level ranking that appears in some i-Ready Reading and Math lessons. i-Ready Wiki gives this level a low-leveled lessons. Most of the time Plory and Yoop appear, but in other lessons have Pepper Jackie, Sweet T, etc. This introduces Victor, Bella, Beau and Mr. Cheeks.
Your child reads independently, or on his/her own, at a level E. Readers at level E encounter texts that have three to eight lines of print per page. They are able to read sentences that carry over two to three lines or even across two pages.

LEVEL J BOOKS provide readers with a variety of kinds of text, such as simple fantasy, realistic fiction, folk tales, and simple informational (nonfiction) texts. Plots become more elaborate and a few abstract ideas are highly supported by the illustrations and the story.
What is level M in reading?
LEVEL M BOOKS include a variety of genres including simple mysteries, biography, fantasy, realistic fiction, and informational texts (nonfiction). The books can be short or longer chapter books. The text will have multi-syllable words that are challenging to decode, and complex sentences.
i-Ready's diagnostic assessment provides a scaled score (ranges from 0 to 800) that can be tracked and compared across grades.
On average, a 7th grader should read between 150 and 200 words per minute (wpm). Many districts consider 150 wpm to be the baseline for independent reading.
Stretch growth is an ambitious but attainable level of annual growth that puts students on a path toward proficiency. This student will need to meet his or her annual stretch growth for at least 1 year to be proficient. Proficient for fifth grade is a mid on-grade level scale score of 498.
Your average reader in Grade 5 will fall between 565L and 910L, though there will be readers who fall below the average, and others who are reading at a more advanced level.
The default passing threshold for i-Ready lessons is 67 percent, or two out of every three questions correct, but your school district has the flexibility to adjust the passing rate. Please check with your student's teacher to find out the passing rate in your school.

iReady is a computer-adaptive test (CAT). Computer-adaptive tests continually adjust the difficulty of each test by determining each question based on the previous response. If a student answers correctly, the difficulty level of the next item increases.
An E or D is still a pass at A-Level, but it will result in lower UCAS points. A pass is indicated by one of five grades, A, B, C, D or E, where A (and A*) is the highest and E is the lowest. In order to meet the pass criteria, you must get an E grade or above.
Fountas & Pinnell have expanded their reading levels to include Z+, which indicates a readability level of 9+ and would typically apply to a high school or adult title.
What is level F reading?
LEVEL F BOOKS usually have themes and ideas typical to the experiences of children. The characters will be more developed and the sentences in the story will be longer (more than ten words). The words may have one or two, or even three, syllables. The illustrations continue to be very supportive of the text.
LEVEL E BOOKS usually have between three and eight lines of print on each page. The stories have more complex ideas and words with endings (such as -ed and -ing). The vocabulary should be familiar to your child and the pictures should illustrate the meaning of the word.
