What is the strongest mesh fabric?
If it's a mesh being used for everyday items, then polyester is the strongest mesh material. Polyester mesh is 100% stronger than fiberglass in comparisons on screens made from both products. It has a tensile strength of around 112 pounds and a tear strength of 31 pounds.
Mesh fabric can be highly durable, strong, and flexible. They are known for, and commonly used in scenarios where liquid, air and fine particulate needs permeability. Mesh fabric is fabricated most commonly from stainless steel, copper, bronze, polyester (or nylon) and polypropylene.
The power mesh fabric is a light, soft, breathable, yet sturdy fabric. This strong material is soft to the touch stretchy, comfortable and breathable. It is a finely knitted fabric with a four-way stretch. Power mesh works great in uniforms, sports wear, undergarments, and many other fashion applications.

Polyester Mesh Holds Up Better in Certain Environments than Nylon Mesh. The types of fluids filter mesh functions well in is another difference between polyester mesh and nylon mesh. Polyester is a material which has the ability to hold up better when exposed to water and has a higher resistance to acids.

Polyester often has more of a fiber-like feeling, whereas nylon can seem almost more silk-like. When it comes to the stretch ability of the mesh screen, nylon is able to be stretched, more than polyester. Polyester mesh screen includes several properties, making it suited for several applications.
The standard material used in most screen enclosures is fiberglass. Polyester mesh is 100% stronger than fiberglass screens. The warp tensile strength of polyester mesh is about 112 pounds of force, the warp tear strength is about 31 pounds of force and the fill tear strength is about 27 pounds of force.
Mesh fabrics are used to create products for activities such as sports, camping, hunting and fishing, and more. Examples of products and industries that incorporate this material include: Golf simulator/impact screens and nets. Aquaculture.
Vinyl-Coated Polyester Mesh
The coating on each strand of yarn in the fabric protects the polyester, and keeps water from penetrating into the fiber. Because this brilliantly water-resistant outdoor fabric is a mesh, air flow is excellent as well.
Is mesh good for summer?
Mesh is great in relatively low humidity and temps up to about the mid 90s. Over that, I seal up and use a phase change vest. It's a bit of a pain, but on a long ride it's really worth it. Also, heading up into the mountains is tons cooler.
