While personal memory drives a love for the 2000s fashion amongst millennials, the Gen Z's appeals to the iconic aesthetic it portrays. Today, Gen Z embraces the vintage and resale market, making the “Y2K” hashtag a popular search on Depop and many resale platforms.

It's all because every person has their own biological clock, that rarely coincides with their real age. American researchers have come to the conclusion that biological aging in recent years has been happening more slowly, which is why subsequent generations stay younger looking longer.
That is why the generations today each span 15 years with Generation Y (Millennials) born from 1980 to 1994; Generation Z from 1995 to 2009 and Generation Alpha from 2010 to 2024. And so it follows that Generation Beta will be born from 2025 to 2039.
Pew Research recently defined Gen Z as anyone born after 1996. Gen Z grew up with technology, the internet, and social media, which sometimes causes them to be stereotyped as tech-addicted, anti-social, or “social justice warriors.”
Social media platforms, video games, and social media groups are the top places that young people are finding community overall—but Gen Z and Millennials' top responses are not the same.
Is there a Gen A?
