The big screen adaptation of Get Smart starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway, hasn't even finished shooting, yet Warner Bros has already greenlit a sequel. Actually, they gave the greenlight before the movie was even cast. And get this, the sequel is also in production now.

Kaos is an evil Portal Master and the main antagonist of the Skylanders series. He plots to take over Skylands, and was responsible for banishing all the Skylanders from their world to Earth after destroying the Core of Light that protected Skylands, but his plans were ultimately foiled.

Get Smart is breezy, frequently very funny, and never once slows down enough to become dull. This is one of those movies where you can tell that the cast is having a great time, and that joy carries through on the screen. The movie is a comedy, but the action scenes and stunt work on display are truly first rate.
During 2013, Carell stated that it was unlikely that there really would be a sequel. In December 2013, however, Peter Segal claimed a Get Smart 2 had been close to being made, with the "funny script" written by Carell himself. By 2019, Segal stated that too much time had passed for a Get Smart sequel to be viable.

Although Get Smart was set in Washington DC it was filmed in Los Angeles. Strangely four different locations of Control Headquarters were used in the opening sequences of the original tv series, not to mention the follow up movies, the 1995 Fox tv series or the references to the location of Control used in the show.
