Where is Grace and Frankie staged?
In the Netflix series Grace and Frankie, the beach house is set in San Diego's La Jolla area. However, the real beach house is located in Malibu's Broad Beach. The outside scenes are filmed in Malibu at the real beach house while all scenes inside the beach house are filmed at Paramount Studios.

At the start of Season 5, Grace and Frankie had just escaped from an assisted living facility, only to discover their children have sold their beach house out from under them. They squat in the house until new owner, pop star Kareena G (Nicole Richie), turns up.
Sadly, shots that show Grace and Frankie's house interiors were not filmed at the real-life location. While the filmmakers took inspiration from the Malibu house when recreating the interiors, most of what we see onscreen is filmed on a sound stage at Paramount Studios.
Frankie is a British television drama series created by Lucy Gannon. The series stars Eve Myles as Frankie Maddox, a district nurse more emotionally involved with her job than her personal life. The series is both set and filmed in the English city of Bristol.
As Frankie Bergstein, she wears a flowing wig that calls to mind a sensual ceramist from Woodstock. Tomlin collects wigs. “That hair just seemed perfect,” she explained. “Frankie's kind of an Earth Mother.
As a matter of fact, the luxury residence is located at the 31 212 Broad Beach Road in Malibu, California. It was created by Steve Giannetti, an architect made famous for its unique sense of style that marries contemporary and antics.

In the series finale, Robert and Sol have a lovely scene where they revisit the hotel where they first kissed years ago. We see both the main lobby and the elevators. This is the Millenium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, which was also used in Ghostbusters.

How do you get to Phi Phi island?
The only way to reach the Phi Phi islands is by boat from phu*ket or Krabi, and you can use either a ferry or a speedboat to get there. There's no airport in Koh Phi Phi, so the closest place to fly is the international airport in phu*ket (HKT) or the one in Krabi (KBV). Both of these have cheap flights from Bangkok.
