Compared to any other school offering a Graphic Design major, SCAD is by far the best. Compared to some other art colleges it's not as expensive but it is still expensive regardless. SCAD is on the expensive side, but it is worth every penny! Just make sure to apply to as many scholarships as you can.

SCAD is a pretty chill place to work. A very laid back but fast-paced work environment, great co-workers and very nice staff overall. The pay was nice and management could've been a bit better behind the scenes.

We give admission preference to students with a grade-point average of 3.0 or above and scores at the national average or above, which is 1080 for the SAT (combined math and critical reading) or a composite score of 21 for the ACT. We encourage all students to apply, however.
The Savannah Film Festival is a huge event that happens each year, but tickets sell out fast because it's a community event. SCAD is be no means a party school. Most people just get high in their small groups in their dorm, and then make some more art. The parties are small and in the dorms.

Savannah is generally safe during the day, especially in tourist areas and in the city center. However, it is not recommended for walking alone in the city late at night. Always watch your things. Park your car in secure parking lots and always lock it.
SCAD has to backup their big price tag with reasons that it is worth it. They roll out the big names, Fortune 500 companies and notable alums because they would rather we get an internship or make the connections we need for the real world here than leave us at graduation with nothing but a diploma.
