Why does the king of hearts have no mustache?

It is an elaboration of Black Lady, itself a development of the original American game of Hearts, the progenitor of the group. Black Maria is regarded as one of the best games for three players. The name of the game is derived from the nickname given to the Queen of Spades which plays a key role.
Where did the queen of spades come from?
"The Queen of Spades" (Russian: «Пиковая дама»; Pikovaya dama) is a short story with supernatural elements by Alexander Pushkin about human avarice. Pushkin wrote the story in autumn 1833 in Boldino, and it was first published in the literary magazine Biblioteka dlya chteniya in March 1834.
Now, there are those who will tell you that the Four of Spades has been called the Devil's bedpost by sailors for generations. In fact, Captain Frederick Chamier (1796 – 1870), in his novel “The Saucy Arethusa” credits sailors for naming the Four of Spades the Devil's bedpost.
That was because card manufacturers had to pay taxes – so called stamp duty was applied. Various methods were used to show that the tax was paid, including a physical stamp on the highest card of the deck, which is, of course, the ace of spades. That is how it all began.
