In her final Walking Dead appearance during season 9, Maggie finally seemed to get past her obsession with killing Negan. After Rick's presumed death and the time jump, Maggie is gone, and it's said she went off with Georgie to help build a new community.
Michonne comments at one point that she doesn't know how Maggie would react if she saw Michonne again while leading Magna's group to Hilltop. It's eventually revealed that Maggie left the Hilltop to help Georgie and her group with another community far away.
Rick chased down Negan and, just like he did in the comics (comics spoiler), he slit his enemy's throat—but not deeply enough to kill him. Instead, following Carl's admonition to establish peace, Rick instantly ordered Siddiq, a doctor, to save Negan.
