Rihanna has revealed her pregnancy cover shoot with Vogue, leaving her fans and social media users mesmerised.

The singer and actress graced the May 2022 edition of the magazine where she wears a red lace bodysuit with matching gloves and stilettos.

In another image, Rihanna wears a long black jacket with three pieces of jewellery placed on her belly as she sits on a sofa.

We take a look back at Rihanna’s Vogue covers over the years.

Starting in 2009, Rihanna graced the cover of Vogue Italia in September 2009 before appearing in US Vogue in April 2011.

In November 2011, the Umbrella and Diamonds singer made her debut on British Vogue where she stunned with a short blonde hair.

At the time, some of Rihanna’s images sparked controversy on social media when a user claimed that the singer’s skin looked different in the pictures.

Editor Alexandra Shulmansaid at the time: “The reality is that the pictures that were published came in exactly how they have been published — with absolutely no skin lightening. If her skin does look pale it is probably because of the very strong sunlight in LA that day. We worked with her chosen hair and make-up team to present her in the way she was most comfortable with.”

The singer appeared in US Vogue in November 2012, US Vogue in March 2014, Vogue (Met Gala edition) in May 2014, Vogue Brazil in May 2014 and Vogue (Met Gala edition) in May 2015.

Rihanna also graced US Vogue in April 2016 wearing Tom Ford which was after the release of her 2016 albumAnti.

She appeared on the cover of British Vogue in April 2016 as well.

She then appeared on the cover of Vogue Arabia in November 2017, Vogue Paris in December 2017, US Vogue in June 2018, Vogue (Met Gala edition) in May 2018 and British Vogue in September 2018.

In May 2019, Rihanna was the cover star of Vogue Australia which featured several pieces from her Savage x Fenty lingerie brand.

She wore a Runway Spring 2019 Marc Jacobs blazer and was photographed by Josh Olins and styled by Christine Centenera for the magazine.

Rihanna made history with her stunning British Vogue cover shoot in May 2020.

She became the first woman to appear on the cover of British Vogue wearing a durag, a silky cloth tied on top of the head to secure a hairstyle.
