California's Proposition 65 Warning To California Residents
This warning is provided to comply with California's Proposition 65 product labeling law. Some Swarovski crystal and Miyuki glass enamel finish products sold by Caravan Beads may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Caravan Beads provides this warning based on its knowledge concerning the possible presence of one or more such chemicals, without attempting to evaluate the level of exposure.
Since September 2012, Swarovski has modified the way they make their crystal beads and components to allow them to offer the same brilliant cuts and reflection, but using a crystal glass that is greater than 99% lead free. The composition of the new crystal glass contains 0.009% lead or less, which allows them to be considered lead free. Some of our Swarovski products were purchased before September, 2012.
