Whilst you cannot stay inside Highclere Castle, you can book a room at one of the two properties located on the Highclere Estate. There are also many nearby hotels and B&B’s that provide a perfect base to explore Highclere Castle and the surrounding countryside.

There are two lodges located on the Highclere Estate, that cater to the luxury end of the market.
Grotto Lodge
Grotto Lodge is a small property located on the Highclere Estate that is around 150 years old. It has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. It’s been beautifully
There is a minimum booking of two nights, at £1,200 per room. Additional nights can be booked at the rate of £400/night
London Lodge
This one bedroom property is located at the entrance to the Highclere Castle Estate. It was built in the 18th Century by the first Earl of Carnarvon and marks the formal entrance to the estate. The property is self-catered and comes with a kitchen and living room.
Booking is available for a two-night stay and costs £850.
Both these properties have extremely limited availability and can only be booked by creating an account directly on the Highclere website.
