How can I change my payment country? ›

Under "Payments profile," next to "Country," click Edit. . From the message that opens, click Create new profile.

On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app. Tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner. Tap Settings and then tap General. Select Account and device preferences and then tap Country and profiles.

If you change your country, you'll need to wait a year to change it again. Your Google Play balance is linked to your Google Play country. If you have Google Play balance and change countries, you won't be able to use that balance in your new country. Your balance will still be linked to your old country.

Your account is associated with a region (or territory) in the Terms of Service so that we can determine several things: The Google affiliate that provides the services, that processes your information, and that is responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws.

If your Google Play Store account has an existing payment method, you won't be able to change your region without a valid payment method from your new country. In this case, you can create a new Play Store account instead, and skip the option to add a payment method when prompted.

All you need to do is: Click the “Edit Profile” button on your profile settings. Select the “Location” option from the list of options. You can enter the new city or town where you want to be.

If your account location is set incorrectly, you can update it one time on your own by going into Settings > Account Info. Under the “Personal” section, choose the correct location from the drop down menu.

In the “Profile” section, select Change. In the “Country/region” dropdown, select the desired country/region. Select Save changes. Read the information about changing your country/region, then select I agree to confirm the change.
